  • Select your device from the results page to get a trade in value.
  • If your device has damage, you can get a more accurate quote by choosing to answer questions on the condition.
  • After getting your quote, send your device back to us using the pre-paid envelope or downloadable label.

A:
  • Your IMEI is a 15-digit number which is unique to your device.
  • Dial *#06# from your device to get your IMEI.
  • If your device has 2 IMEI's - please use the IMEI 1

A: Usually this will be in your device settings under about device, if you still have the original box which came with your device you could also check this. Or visit our how to guides section for instructions on how to identify your device.

A: Yes, when you upgrade with EE directly, you can trade in your old device at the same time. You can do this instore or over the phone. The trade in value will be applied to your bill as a monthly discount. Alternatively, you can sell your phone here , to get a BACs payment straight into your account.

A: We securely data wipe devices - eligible devices are refurbished and prepped for resale. Any devices we can't securely data wipe will be responsibly recycled.

A: Devices need to be removed from any manufacturer account lock before they can be traded in, instructions vary by device type but usually you will find details for your device as part of the email comms we send you. If you need more information please visit our how to guides

A: Your quote is valid for 14 days. If we receive your device outside of the expiry date, you'll receive a revised offer based on the current trade in value. If you need more time, please contact us at eeconsumer.uk@likewize.com

A: At EE, we categorize devices into three distinct conditions: pristine, good, and faulty. To ensure you select the correct category, carefully review each condition's description provided during the Trade in process. It's essential to match your device as closely as possible to these descriptions. If upon evaluation, your device’s condition differs from your initial assessment, we'll provide an updated offer, reflecting the actual condition. Rest assured, you have full control to either accept or reject this new offer based on the revised Trade in value.

A: Once you receive a Trade in quote from EE, it remains valid for a period of 14 days starting from the date you initiate your Trade in online. This gives you plenty of time to decide and send your device to us, securing the offered value.

A: You can select having a pre-paid device pack sent out to you, or printing your own label. Both options require you to drop the device at a Post Office. We advise getting proof of postage. We would advise taking additional insurance for devices of higher value.

A: Your device is insured up to £150 with our label, we advise taking additional insurance for devices of higher value.
If you have chosen to print your own label, ensure you page your device securely.

A: Please only send the device itself. For laptops, include the charger, but no other accessories are needed.

A: Find out how much you can make from selling your laptop by simply inputting your laptops make, model and processor into our laptop trade in page. This will then provide you with a quote value. If you accept the quoted price, simply package up your laptop appropriately for shipping, print out the label we will send you, attach it to the package, and take it to a post office to send off. We recommend asking for a proof of postage for your records. We also recommend paying for additional coverage on devices with higher value as we only cover damages for up to £150.

Please make sure your laptop is fully charged before sending, this will help us get your money to you quicker!

Make sure you include your charger with the laptop as it is required to process the Trade in.

A: Yes you need to include your laptop charger with your laptop that you are trading in.

A: 1) Use soft packaging material such as bubble wrap to package your laptop. Ensure all sides are covered with bubble wrap.

2) We then recommend sealing the bubble wrap with tape to stop the laptop from moving. Then package the charger in the manner as the laptop.

3) Then place the devices into a box which is strong enough to survive transportation.

4) Make sure that any space around the laptop in the box is filled with enough bubble wrap to protect it from moving around inside the box.

5) The final step is to print out your label we will send you via email, apply it to the outside of the box and its ready to post at your nearest post office branch! We recommend asking for a proof of postage for your records. We also recommend paying for additional coverage on devices with higher value.

A: 1. Press on the Windows key on your keyboard and start typing System, choose System Information which will show Processor information with the name, number, and speed of the processor.

2. If the Windows key is not available on your keyboard, use your mouse, go to the Windows icon located on the bottom-left corner of your screen, right-click, and choose System. Look up the processor's name and number in the Processor information.
